What's New for 2021?

All new hatchback models will have even more safety built-in with rear-seat-mounted side airbags for a total of ten airbags throughout the vehicle. You can also expect more cargo space for the new hatchback with the spare tire replaced with a tire repair kit. With an additional six cubic feet of cargo space, the Corolla hatchback now offers up to 23 cubic feet of maximum cargo volume.

The sedan body style now features a new Apex Edition trim level. This trim level comes with a unique appearance and a sport-tuned chassis for a sporty look and feel. There is the option of a stick-shift transmission for those who love an engaging driving experience. However, there are only 120 manual transmission models available.

All Corolla models now feature standard Android Auto™ for directions, playlists, and more.

Performance

The new 2021 Corolla comes with a standard 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 139 horsepower and 126 pound-feet of torque. This engine option provides impressive mileage with 30 MPG in the city and 38 MPG on the highway for the sedan. There is also a 2.0-liter engine option, which delivers 169 horsepower, 151 pound-feet of torque, and a combined EPA fuel economy rating of 35 MPG for the hatchback.

If you're looking to maximize your fuel efficiency, there is the option of a hybrid powertrain for the sedan body style. By combining a 1.8-liter engine with an electric motor, the hybrid Corolla offers a combined EPA rating of 52 MPG. You can personalize your driving experience with Normal, Power and ECO driving modes, fine-tuning your driving experience to match your surroundings.

Technology

The new Corolla comes with standard Audio Multimedia for all its trim levels. This multimedia system includes cutting-edge features for more entertainment, convenience, and ease.
